Sublime which has returned with Jakob Nowell as its new vocalist who happens to be the son of late frontman Bradley Nowell while performing ska hip-hop at Vinoy Park with songs "What I Got" and "Santeria" and "Wrong Way" and "Doin' Time" and "Badfish". The group released their self-titled album in 1996 which became multi-platinum after Bradley's death just two months prior to its release thus establishing their permanent position.

Steel Pulse

Check out Birmingham-based Steel Pulse who have been leading UK reggae since 1975. The musical selection includes "Ku Klux Klan" and "Chant a Psalm" and "Rally Round" and "Your House" which address major social problems. Trailblazers as the original non-Jamaican act to claim the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 1986 for 'Babylon the Bandit.'Interestingly: The band emerged from Handsworth which served as a center for British reggae music.

Common Kings

The Orange County band Common Kings creates island-infused music which you will likely enjoy because they blend reggae with pop and R&B elements. You'll sing along to excellent favorites including "Wade in Your Water", "On the Low", "Alcoholic", and "Take You There". The band presents their new album Celebration (2023) which brings new musical energy. 

G. Love & Special Sauce

You'll encounter the unique mixture of blues, hip-hop and funk characterizing Philadelphia's G. Love & Special Sauce, creating since 1992. The tracks "Cold beverage" and "Baby's Got Sauce" and "Stepping Stones" and "Rodeo Clowns" present a relaxed atmosphere.
